Stress!

Stress!

I have a lot going on at work – and – I’m wrapping things up for my Masters degree – so I am stressed out! I’m trying to use exercise as an outlet for stress but I must admit – I’ve had a few lattes and some sugary cereal this week. It’s not making me feel any better – in fact – it’s making me feel worse – but old habits are so hard to kick – especially when the going gets tough! Looking for more ideas to combat stress and anxiety – any tips?

  • Erica, I read your post and felt like you are experiencing the same things as I am. Although I am not trying to tackle a Master’s Degree, my work has been very stressful lately and many weeks I had to do just partial weeks for meals because of my travel schedule. Although I have increased my gym workouts, I have also slept worse and not been drinking enough water. I did buy a yoga DVD and am going to try to use that to learn better focus, breathing, stretching, etc. And I got out last weekend and raked the heck out of my yard. I guess staying busy and trying to keep thinking positively is all part of the motivation. Good luck to you!
