About 6 years ago I joined a gym and worked out regularly and dropped 20-25 lbs. and kept it off. I even took up running for fun and participated in over fifteen 5K races with friends. In the last couple of years, I have put all that weight back on and become lazy about exercising. I just can't get motivated to get to the gym and follow a good diet plan. I need something to be more accountable for and this may be just what I need. I felt pretty depressed when I stepped on the scale this morning and found I had tipped the scale at over 180 lbs. today. My body is starting to experience more chronic pain from the extra weight and I am less flexible than I used to be. My goal is to improve my overall health and be better about maintaining it.
